On Saturday 22 June, all our colleagues and their families were invited to the Remant family summer barbecue. Bar Noord was the ideal location for this sun-drenched summer event in the centre of Antwerp. Thanks to the summer temperatures and the exotic setting, it almost felt like going on holiday in one’s own city.
Everyone enjoyed the barbecue, which was prepared on several OFYRs on the terrace of Bar Noord, with drinks all around. Younger guests didn’t know where to look first, with plenty of opportunities to play, including a bouncy castle, a drawing table, a giant Connect Four game, a sack race, ring throwing, skittles and a shuffleboard. Some of the best drawings of the day, however, were done by our face painter of the day, with lions, dolphins and other creatures trying to blend in among the crowd.
