Our partner SonderJansen cycles 600 km for AMREF Flying Doctors Africa

AMREF Flying Doctors Africa asked our partner SonderJansen to make a mountain bike trip through Uganda in June. This 6-day bike trip, covering 600 km of unpaved and paved roads, with 6,000 metres at altitude, was organised for charity. The aim was to raise 100 euros per mile and 37,000 euros in all. The team rose to the challenge and left to Uganda for their charity ride, which took place from 22 until 29 June. Remant gladly lent its support for this fantastic initiative.

Since 1957, AMREF Flying Doctors has been working to improve healthcare on the African continent, performing life-saving work. As a result, AMREF Flying Doctors is the largest African organisation, partnering with local employees and using education, training and research to improve the healthcare systems in African countries for a better future. They are the pioneers for community-based healthcare and the regional leader for mother and child care.
