    Mandatory E-invoicing via Peppol starting January 1, 2026

    As of January 1, 2026, all Belgian VAT-registered companies must use structured electronic invoices for their B2B transactions. These invoices will be exchanged via the Peppol network, an important step in the digitalization of the Belgian economy and the fight against VAT fraud.

    What is Peppol?

    Peppol is a secure and standardized European network for sending and receiving electronic invoices. With Peppol, invoices can be automatically processed by accounting software, reducing errors and enhancing security.
