For me, logistics is also about people: customers, transporters, shipping companies. You build something together. Then, when you are told 'we are happy with your service', it feels really good. I do it for the contacts. And the 'merci' afterwards. The human connection makes all the difference.
I had zero experience in logistics, but you learn at lightning speed here by doing, watching and asking questions. You learn to anticipate, recognise and solve problems. Then when you are able to straighten something out at a critical moment, it makes you proud. It shows you how much you have grown.
What have I learnt here? That I can do more than I expected. Over the years, I was given new responsibilities, which I grew into. You are not pushed into something you don't want to do, but you are given opportunities. And if you are open to learning, you will be supported. This confidence means a lot.
