As a company, we do not exist in a vacuum. We take responsibility for our actions, and we support specific sector initiatives and more general good causes. We  also try to communicate our exemplary role in terms of sustainability to our stakeholders.

#action – Donation of IT equipment through Close the Gap
In 2022, we donated hardware to the organization Close the Gap for the second time. In total, we donated 46 desktops, 12 laptops, 34 monitors, 1 printer and 4 servers. Remant makes donations like this to help reduce the digital divide and prevent e-waste. Close the Gap supplies high-quality refurbished IT equipment to social and educational projects in developing countries, but also in Belgium. The organization coordinates the various partners in the supply chain to ensure that IT projects are implemented successfully. This includes overseeing data destruction, refurbishment, transportation, export/import process, distribution, installation and maintenance, as well as local collection and recycling.
